During the Government’s session of 21․07․2022, 2022-2026 Strategy of the RA Judicial and Legal Reforms and its Action Plan were adopted. The aforementioned Strategy and its Action Plan do not reflect the position and recommendations of civil society.
The opinion on the Draft Laws on making amendments to the constitutional law on Judicial Code and the
constitutional law on Constitutional Court is published.
It is beyond doubt that there is a common recognition of the need for substantive judicial reforms in Armenia. On May 20, 2019, the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the necessity of urgent solutions to the problems in the judiciary and put forward the agenda of vetting.
